The total length of the name must be 63 characters or less, which includes the 4 characters for the domain extension (.com). You may only use letter characters, numeral digits and the dash (-). A domain name can not begin or end with a hyphen (-), and remember also that the underscore (_) is an invalid character. The prefix and protocol (http://www.) are not a part of the domain name and should not be included.
